New Beginnings

In a land we never forgot
Twas a clepto goblin Miss Nott
And with her to the last
Was Caleb Widogast
A wandering wizard self taught

Whilst sipping on ale they adored
Their ears perked to the sound of reward
Yes, the clanging of coin
Caused their fates to adjoin
With Jester, Beauregard, and Fjord

Enthralled in vocacious volley
Shifting from weary to jolly
They divided their gold
And a fortune was told
By Yasha’s coworker Molly

But the cards were yet incomplete
For one’s fate is never concrete
As that night at the show
In a tent all aglow
Were undead they had to defeat

While villagers scrambled and ran
The heroes had naught for a plan
Instead of retreating
They pulled through, defeating
The threat, though the guards weren’t a fan

No, instead of glory and fame
They were circled, questioned, and blamed
As Yasha hit the woods
The crew uttered falsehoods
‘Cept Caleb who dared share his name

And still, the heavens were grinning
Uncanny, this underpinning
As strangers become friends
And the future depends
On critical new beginnings
